The Wright Stuff 18th Feb 2016

We were pleased to see a discussion on standing in schools on The Wright Stuff on Channel 5 this week, a great chance to bring this important topic to a large audience.  In the discussion, Matthew Wright, his co-presenters and members of the audience highlight several points, such as that children are likely to enjoy standing during class, that standing may be helpful for restless children and it may give more focus during lesson-time.  During the programme, it was also noted that standing is better for posture than sitting and that perhaps children are less likely to be resistant to such a change in their environment than adults would be.  Active children grow up to be active adults and what better place to start than in school.
